9 Day Divine Mother festival

Welcome to join us for 9 days to celebrate the presence of Divine Mother.

To experience the entire festival, come no later than Wednesday, October 2, and stay till at least Saturday, October 12. Coming for a few days during this time is also possible, but it is not preferred!

This 9-day festival is called Navaratri. We will do a full programme at Sadashiva Dham as is customary at Babaji’s main ashrams in India. Take your time and come.

This autumn Navaratri, the daily programme is as follows:

We do not have a certified Acharya to read the Shrimad Devi Bhagwatam in the afternoon as we do in India.

Instead, Maarten Baba, Pujari and Raghuvir will share what they have learnt about the Navaratri process during their years of participation; in the Satsang, they will respond to what is brought up by the attendees.

Please sign up via email! Thanks and see you in October.

We invite you to pay a visit, to enjoy a moment of silence in the temple or to participate in the daily program. Everyone is welcome, regardless of religion, belief, background. If you come for more than a day, you can stay the night on the ashram.

For groups, associations, etc., it is possible to arrange a tour and / or an information meeting. Host groups can use our facilities to plan their own retreat program in harmony with the ashram program.

The ashram Sada Shiva Dham is inspired by the teachings of Mahavatar  Haidakhan Babaji: the principles of Truth, Simplicity, and Love and karma-yoga. Karma yoga can be explained as selfless work, work in service of humanity.

Bhakti festival in the picture

This morning the first full day of the Bhakti festival 2018 started with the Paduka Puja in Babaji’s chalet and kirtan around the havan kund. At about the same time there was a small silent havan in the dhuni building.

After the Aarti and a small breakfast at the Chai-shop, the whole morning was filled with kirtan in the temple. You could also go to the big tent for a yoga workshop.

Images of the kirtan in the temple you can see  below:
