The Aarti is a light ceremony for connection with the Divine. The Aarti is done in front of an effigy symbolizing God/Goddess.
On Sadashiva Dham, the effigy is a consecrated image of Munindra or Shiva and Haidakhandeswari or the Goddess in a universal form.
The Aarti ceremony is followed by a long chanted prayer/meditation/mantras, partly in Sanskrit, partly in Hindi. Some of the mantras are of recent date, many are also ancient mantras and prayers.
Below is the Aarti as sung at Sadashiva Dham and in other (Haidakhan) Babaji ashrams.
You can listen to this Aarti and gradually learn to chant the Aarti. Through a caption, you can follow the lyrics of the Aarti! Bhole Baba ki jai.
