SUMMARY:Retreat Weekend
DESCRIPTION:A retreat weekend is a relaxing weekend where we follow the regular ashram program: fire ceremony\, Aarti ceremony\, singing in the temple\, and Karma Yoga. In addition\, there is Satsang\, which means exploring Babaji’s teachings and sharing experiences together. Satsang means ‘being together in truth’. There is room for meditation\, reflection\, and possibly yoga or kirtan. We also take a walk in the beautiful forests near the ashram.     \nThis weekend is also suitable for people visiting Sadashiva Dham for the first time. There is an additional introduction and tour for them on Saturday morning. You can register via our email address: sadashivadham@gmail.com.\nPlease mention that you are coming for the retreat weekend. \nThe cost-covering contribution for the weekend\, including two nights’ accommodation and vegetarian meals\, is 128 euros. \nAlso\, see the Visit page for practical information about your stay. \nThe Program:\nFriday \n4:00 PM – 6:00 PM: Arrival at the ashram (if it will be later\, please let us know). \n6:30 PM: Gathering in the yoga hall for introductions and orientation \n8:00 PM: Simple evening meal \nSaturday \n6:30 AM: Silent fire ceremony \n8:00 AM: Aarti singing in the temple \n9:15 AM: Breakfast \n10:30 AM: Karma Yoga \n12:00 PM: Tour of the ashram for newcomers \n1:15 PM: Prasad (warm lunch) \nAfter lunch: Break and rest \n4:00 PM: Satsang in the temple\, possibly meditation and/or Japa \n6:00 PM: Time for individual meditation or yoga or walking \n7:00 PM: Aarti singing in the temple \n8:00 PM: Simple evening meal \nSunday \n6:30 AM: Fire ceremony with spoken mantras \n8:00 AM: Aarti singing in the temple \n9:30 AM: Breakfast \n11:00 AM: Karma Yoga \n12:00 PM: Walk in the woods \n1:15 PM: Warm lunch \n2:00 PM: Break \n3:00 PM: Closing session \n7:00 PM: You are welcome to join the Aarti in the temple \n
