SUMMARY:Retreat Weekend
DESCRIPTION:A retreat weekend is a relaxing weekend where we follow the regular ashram program: fire ceremony\, Aarti ceremony\, singing in the temple\, and Karma Yoga. Additionally\, there is Satsang\, which means exploring Babaji’s teachings and sharing experiences together. Satsang means ‘being together in truth’. There is room for meditation\, reflection\, and possibly yoga. We also take a walk in the beautiful forests near the ashram.     \nThis weekend is also suitable for people visiting Sadashiva Dham for the first time. There is an additional introduction and tour for them on Saturday morning. SUMMARY:Christmas
DESCRIPTION:The spiritual festival of Christmas\, the celebration of the birth of Christ\, is also celebrated every year at Sadashiva Dham. The celebration on Christmas Eve December 24 starts at 6 PM with singing Christmas carols by the Christmas tree in the temple. Then\, at 7 PM\, we sing the usual Aarti. Visitors are invited to bring a small gift (around 7 euros) to place under the Christmas tree. These gifts are shared with the help of angel cards after the Aarti. Afterwards\, we enjoy a meal together. \nOn Christmas morning December 25\, the program is the same as that of a Babaji weekend: \n7:00 AM: Paduka Puja in the Babaji Kutir (chalet); a ceremony to invite Mahavatar Babaji into everyone’s heart \n8:00 AM: Aarti (light ceremony and chanting of mantras) \n10:00 AM: Festive havan (fire ceremony) at the open fire place \n11:30 AM: Karma Yoga \n1:30 PM: Prasad (warm lunch) \nAfter lunch: Break and rest \n4:00 PM – 6:00 PM: Karma Yoga \nIn the afternoon: Satsang with a Christmas thought as the theme. DESCRIPTION:The festival of Diwali is celebrated every year\, between mid-October and mid-November\, on the day of the new moon. The festival is the celebration of Lakshmi\, the feminine divine force in creation who provides prosperity and abundance at all levels of life. It is also called the festival of lights because in the evening lights are lit everywhere\, so that Lakshmi can easily find her way and give her blessings. \nThe day is spent cleaning the different spaces and putting up decorations. \nAt 4:30 PM we celebrate a small Kali puja. Kali is an aspect of the divine Mother to destroy negativity\, dispel darkness and promote spirituality. \nAarti starts at 7:00 PM. \nIn the evening\, tea lights and candles are lit as a welcome for Lakshmi. At 9 PM we celebrate the Lakshmi puja in the temple on the occasion of Diwali.

DESCRIPTION:During this annual international festival\, in addition to the normal ashram program\, there is a strong focus on kirtan\, yoga\, and other activities. The ashram grounds are transformed into a festival site for three days. Sleeping in your own tent or camper is allowed.
