DESCRIPTION:Babaji weekends are a wonderful opportunity to experience the rhythm of life at the ashram. During these weekends\, the teachings of Haidakhan (‘Herakhan’) Babaji are central. There is a program with ceremonies\, communal singing\, and Karma Yoga. In the early morning\, one can take time for meditation or japa and possibly yoga. \nThese weekends are held regularly\, just before or around the full moon. The weekend starts on Friday evening and ends on Sunday afternoon after the (vegetarian) lunch. You can find all dates in this agenda.  \nFriday (evening) \n7:00 PM: Aarti (light ceremony and chanting of mantras) \nSaturday \n6:30 AM: Silent meditation fire or silent havan (Vedic fire ceremony) \n8:00 AM: Aarti (light ceremony and chanting of mantras) \n9:00 AM: Breakfast followed by Karma Yoga \n10:00 AM: Tour and introduction for new visitors \n1:15 PM: Prasad (warm lunch) \nAfter lunch: Break and rest until 4:00 PM \n4:00 PM – 6:00 PM: Karma Yoga \n7:00 PM: Aarti \n8:00 PM: Simple evening meal \n10:00 PM: Silence\, rest \nSometimes there is a yoga class at 4:45 PM and kirtan in the dhuni at 9:00 PM. \nSunday \n6:00 AM: Silent meditation fire in the dhuni \n7:00 AM: Paduka Puja in the Babaji Kutir (chalet); a ceremony to invite Mahavatar Babaji into everyone’s heart \n8:00 AM: Aarti (light ceremony and chanting of mantras) \n10:00 AM: Festive havan (fire ceremony) at the open fire site \nAround 11:30 AM: Karma Yoga \nAround 1:30 PM: Prasad (warm lunch) \nAfter lunch: conclusion of the weekend.  \nYou are welcome to participate in Aarti at 7:00 PM. DESCRIPTION:Twice a year\, in spring and autumn\, the festival for the universal Mother is celebrated at Sadashiva Dham. The universal Mother is the dynamic aspect of creation\, that which gives form and sets everything in motion. The celebration lasts a total of 9 days. During these 9 days\, the energy is experienced as particularly gentle and peaceful. Participating acts as a form of meditation. The effect is healing for ourselves and our surroundings.      \nIt is possible to attend all 9 days\, a few days\, or just a morning. The daily program:  \n6:30 AM: Paduka Puja in the Babaji Kutir (chalet)\, a ceremony to invite Mahavatar Babaji into everyone’s heart \n7:30 AM: Aarti (light ceremony and chanting of mantras) \n8:30 AM: Devi Puja\, special ceremony to welcome the Divine Mother \n9:15 AM: Reading together from the Saptashati\, the 700 verses for the Mother \n10:30 AM: Havan\, Vedic fire ceremony for the Divine Mother for harmony and peace \n12:00 PM: Karma Yoga \n1:15 PM: Prasad (warm lunch) \nAfter lunch: Break and rest \n4:00 PM: Karma Yoga \n4:30 PM: Satsang in the temple: sitting together and speaking in truth or reading in the Devi Bhagavatam\, an ancient Vedic text about the Divine Mother (subject to change) \n7:00 PM: Aarti \n10:00 PM: Silence\, rest \nYou can register via the contact form or send an email to sadashivadham@gmail.com indicating when you would like to come and how many nights you wish to stay.
