About Babaji<\/span><\/h3>\n

Babaji came to revive the ‘Sanatan Dharma’, the Eternal Law of Creation and the foundation of all religions. Babaji didn’t speak much but He showed us how to live in harmony with the Divine.<\/p>\n

His message is simple and direct: live in Truth, Simplicity and Love and serve humanity and all of Creation by doing Karma Yoga, selfless service, and continuously focus your mind on the Name of God.<\/p>\n

He gave us the powerful Maha Mantra: Om Namah Shivay. Repeat it aloud or silently as a way to connect with your divine nature.<\/p>\n

Who was Babaji?<\/h3>\n

Babaji about himself: “I am nobody and nothing. I am a mirror in which you can see yourself.”<\/p>\n

At times, Babaji felt like a strict or loving father, at other times a caring mother or a wise friend. He could be a clear and guiding Guru, or a psychologist who knew exactly how to help someone out of a personal struggle. Sometimes confronting, sometimes comforting. He helped people unfold their lives in both spiritual and practical ways. One of His well-known instructions was: \u201cBe Happy.\u201d<\/p>\n

The word Babaji means ‘beloved Father’. Haidakhan Babaji was seen as a Mahavatar, a Divine incarnation\u2014sometimes called the Guru of Gurus. Even spiritual teachers would come to seek His guidance.

Babaji as Mahavatar, a piece of history<\/h3>\n

Throughout time, Avatars\u2014Divine Beings\u2014appear on earth to guide humanity through times of darkness. Shri Babaji is considered a Mahavatar of Lord Shiva, who has manifested on earth at different times to uplift the world in times of crisis.<\/p>\n

One of the first references to Babaji can be found in the famous book Autobiography of a Yogi by Paramhansa Yogananda.<\/p>\n

In more recent times, Babaji appeared around 1840 as Haidakhan Wale Baba in the Kumaon region of North India. There are countless accounts of miraculous healings and of Him being seen in multiple places at the same time. Tibetan lamas recognized Him as the \u201cLama Baba,\u201d said to have lived centuries ago in Tibet.<\/p>\n

In 1970, Shri Babaji appeared as an 18-year-old in a cave at the foot of Mount Kailash in Haidakhan, North India. Soon after, He climbed to the mountain\u2019s summit and meditated there for 45 days without food, water, or sleep. From Haidakhan He gave His first teachings.<\/p>\n

Babaji emphasized the importance of Karma Yoga\u2014working hard to uplift those around us. He encouraged His devotees not to shy away from worldly responsibilities.
\nHe spoke of healing the world by replacing inhumanity with humanity and living in harmony with one\u2019s Self and surroundings.<\/p>\n

According to Babaji, all true religions are rooted in Truth, Simplicity and Love. He believed that only by honouring these universal values can we truly uplift ourselves and humanity. One of the key aims of the Haidakhandi Samaj is to restore Sanatan Dharma, helping guide humanity toward a higher path.<\/p>\n
