New Year’s Eve is celebrated with kirtan singing in the dhuni, and at midnight, a small Aarti to welcome the new year. Afterwards, there is a festive gathering in the ashram. The next morning, there is a program like on a Sunday morning of a Babaji Weekend. <\/p>\n
On New Year’s Day the morning is celebrated like in a Babaji Weekend:<\/p>\n
7:00 AM: Paduka Puja in the Babaji Kutir (chalet); a ceremony to invite Mahavatar Babaji into everyone’s heart<\/p>\n
8:00 AM: Aarti (light ceremony and chanting of mantras)<\/p>\n
10:00 AM: Festive havan (fire ceremony) at the open fire place<\/p>\n
11:30 AM: Karma Yoga<\/p>\n
1:30 PM: Prasad (warm lunch)<\/p>\n
After lunch: Break and rest<\/p>\n
4:00 PM \u2013 6:00 PM: Karma Yoga<\/p>\n
7:00 PM: Aarti<\/p>\n
8:00 PM: Simple evening meal<\/p>\n
10:00 PM: Silence, rest<\/p>\n
