The celebration is dedicated to the Guru, the external and internal Guru who leads our lives from darkness to light. At Sadashiva Dham, this day is specially dedicated to Mahavatar Babaji and Muniraji, who are the inspiration and guiding force for our ashram.  <\/p>\n<h3>Daily program<\/h3>\n<p><strong>Morning:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p class=\"p3\">6:30 AM: Silent havan<\/p>\n<p class=\"p3\"><span class=\"s2\">7:30 AM: <\/span><em>Aarti<\/em> (light ceremony and chanting of mantras)<\/p>\n<p>9:00 AM: <em>Paduka Puja with Abishek<\/em> in honor of Babaji, Muniraj, and all teachers who assist people on their path to Truth, Simplicity, and Love <\/p>\n<p>10:30 AM: <em>Havan<\/em>, Vedic fire ceremony<\/p>\n<p>12:00 PM: <em>Karma Yoga<\/em> &#8211; at various times throughout the day<\/p>\n<p><span class=\"s2\">1:30 PM: <\/span><em>Prasad<\/em> (warm lunch)<\/p>\n<p><strong>Afternoon:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>After lunch: Break and rest until 4:00 PM<\/p>\n<p>4:30 PM &#8211; 6:00 PM: <em>Satsang and Kirtan<\/em><\/p>\n<p><span class=\"s2\"><strong>Evening:<\/strong><br \/>\n<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span class=\"s2\">7:00 PM: <em>Aarti<\/em><\/span><\/p>\n<p>10:00 PM: <em>Silence, rest<\/em><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\">Minor adjustments to the program are subject to change.<br \/>\nThe Guru Purnima celebration at Sadashiva Dham will be only one day in 2027.<\/p>\n<div><\/div>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Guru Purnima is celebrated on the day of the full moon in July.
