This coming weekend, 15-17 November, we will celebrate together another Babaji Weekend. The Babaji Weekend covers various aspects of Babaji’s teachings of Truth, Simplicity and Love. We sing the Aarti (light ceremony together with chanted mantras), participate in a havan (Vedic fire ceremony) and karma yoga, i.e. participating in work at the ashram as an active form of yoga. The whole thing has a refreshing and renewing effect on mind and body. People, for whom all this is new, can also participate. On Saturday morning around 10 am, there will be a tour and introduction for them. Register yourself by e-mail or via the contact form.
More info on a Babaji Weekend can also be found here: click here!
Welcome to join us for 9 days to celebrate the presence of Divine Mother.
To experience the entire festival, come no later than Wednesday, October 2, and stay till at least Saturday, October 12. Coming for a few days during this time is also possible, but it is not preferred!
This 9-day festival is called Navaratri. We will do a full programme at Sadashiva Dham as is customary at Babaji’s main ashrams in India. Take your time and come.
This autumn Navaratri, the daily programme is as follows:
We do not have a certified Acharya to read the Shrimad Devi Bhagwatam in the afternoon as we do in India.
Instead, Maarten Baba, Pujari and Raghuvir will share what they have learnt about the Navaratri process during their years of participation; in the Satsang, they will respond to what is brought up by the attendees.
Please sign up via email! Thanks and see you in October.
The Bhole Baba Bhakti Festival is a 3 days celebration with lots of singing together (kirtan), mantra singing, music, and inspiration. This year, 2024, the festival will be from 16-18 August. You are welcome per day, but you can also participate all 3 days with overnight stay. To be on time on Friday [at 6 am we start with the Paduka Puja], you are welcome on Thursday 15.
You are free to participate in the usual ashram program with Aarti and Havan, and take part in the Satsang, sharing experiences and insights. Some karma yoga for all participants is also a part of the festival. For more information and sign up: bhaktifestival.nl
“We shall always have to contend with hills and mountains on our journey. Do not be afraid if the mountain collapses; it is in the nature of mountains to collapse, it is the duty of the soldier to move them.
We should all work hard and teach future generations to do the same. And because the whole world is supported by karma, all other types of yoga are secondary. Therefore go ahead and practise serving the world. People have become very faint-hearted in the world, so it is up to us to have courage and face the adventure.”
“Creation is immeasurable and there are many doctrines. Stick to one principle, that of Truth, Simplicity, Love. Live in Truth, Simplicity and Love and practice Karma Yoga ” – Babaji
Introduction – In 1991 a group of Dutch people started the adventure of the ashram Sada Shiva Dham in Loenen Veluwe, the Netherlands. Sada Shiva Dham is a meeting and retreat center centered around the teachings of Mahavatar Haidakhan Babaji.
We invite you to pay a visit, to enjoy a moment of silence in the temple or to participate in the daily program. Everyone is welcome, regardless of religion, belief, background. If you come for more than a day, you can stay the night on the ashram.
For groups, associations, etc., it is possible to arrange a tour and / or an information meeting. Host groups can use our facilities to plan their own retreat program in harmony with the ashram program.
The ashram Sada Shiva Dham is inspired by the teachings of Mahavatar Haidakhan Babaji: the principles of Truth, Simplicity, and Love and karma-yoga. Karma yoga can be explained as selfless work, work in service of humanity.
