Babaji Weekend

May 30 - May 31

Babaji weekends are a wonderful opportunity to experience the rhythm of life at the ashram. During these weekends, the teachings of Haidakhan (‘Herakhan’) Babaji are central. There is a program with ceremonies, communal singing, and Karma Yoga. In the early morning, one can take time for meditation or japa and possibly yoga.

These weekends are held regularly, just before or around the full moon. The weekend starts on Friday evening and ends on Sunday afternoon after the (vegetarian) lunch. You can find all dates in this calendar.

Arrival is possible on Friday afternoon or on Saturday, preferably not between 2:00-4:00 PM due to the rest period.

You can register via the contact form or send an email to sadashivadham@gmail.com indicating when and what time you want to come and how many nights you wish to stay.

Also, see the Visit page for practical information about your stay.

An important aspect of a Babaji Weekend is the Being Together, expressed by a Vedic mantra as follows:

Om Shanavavatu Sahanau bhunaktu
Saha viryam karavavahai
Tejasvina vadhitmastu
Ma vidvishavahai
Om shanti, shanti, shanti.

“Aum, may we proceed together and support each other
May we act courageously together
May we meditate together on the highest divine light
May we not quarrel or be jealous of each other
Aum, peace, peace, peace.”
