Guru Purnima, International Celebration

Guru Purnima is celebrated on the day of the full moon in July. The celebration is dedicated to the Guru, the external and internal Guru who leads our lives from darkness to light. At Sadashiva Dham, this day is specially dedicated to Mahavatar Babaji and Muniraji, who are the inspiration and guiding force for our ashram.
This year, 2026, the Guru Purnima celebration will take place at Sadashiva Dham from July 25 to 29. This year is an international celebration, and we expect many people from surrounding countries. The full moon is on July 29.
Welcome to participate!

Accommodation options
The ashram has dormitories and a sleeping tent available for overnight stays. You can also stay on the grounds with your own tent or camper.
Rooms at the ashram have limited availability: they are reserved for people with special duties or due to health or age.
You can also choose to sleep at the nearby Zonnehuis: there are 2- and 3-person rooms and a single 1-person room. Each room has its own bathroom. Many sleeping spots in the Zonnehuis are already taken. For overnight stays in the Zonnehuis, please get in touch via gurupurnima2026@gmail.com. We will then look at what is still available.
Another option is to book a room at a nearby hotel or holiday park on your own. In this case, you pay only a day pass per day for participation in the Guru Purnima celebrations plus meals.
